Partagas : The Book

That, along with the shipping, are the biggest contributors to the cost. Also, many of the researchers, writers, photographers, translators, editors and other contributors were paid for their services. All in all, in order to cover expenses and be able to make a proper contribution to the museum, that is the neighbourhood the price will fall in.It may be cheaper, there is a certain printing volume which, if met, will lower the per unit production costs greatly enough to effect the final suggested retail price. That is why I am not actually processing orders or asking for any payment at this time. If there is sufficient demand the suggested retail will be lower. The book is both English and Spanish in the same volume. Many people have put in many hours of volunteer services into this project and at the end of the day I hope all will be as proud of it as I am. It is not meant to be an academic, all encompassing history of one brand but an entertaining book exposing some known and some unspoken about points of the history of Partagas as a brand, corporation and the Cuban cigar world of the period. Liberally illustrated with images from many private collections around the world as well as the Partagás archives, the collection of the Museo del Tabaco in Havana. I hope people find it interesting and enjoyable. Amir --------
